I figured that I would dust this thing off, at least for now. I am looking into role play again, though the Gorean scene in SL seems sparse. So, I am going to try some modern settings for a change in pace, and I always enjoyed White Wolf stuff.
We will see how it goes. The character idea so far will still involve dancing and something about a cat burglar..
Well, really, there is not much out there for Gorean role play, though I personally do still keep an eye on things.
Fort Laurius is the newest one that I am checking out, and it was known as Kaelus. They have shifted their location from before to a more rustic approach of an Arian army outpost located by the Northern forests. The build is decent enough, with the plainer details that suit an outpost, and the nearby village as well as the surroundings woods is simply lovely. I admit that I prefer the village and forest portion over the keep’s look. The original build of Kaelus made better use of textures and seemed cleaner in its appearance, but I have seen worse builds than the present one in Fort Laurius. As for the role play, it is a slower start that the last incarnation of this sim, though I have always liked the people that I run into within the sim.
Sure, there is as I find some more logs to add here as well as contemplate adding details of what I am doing lately. Gorean RP does seem to be dwindling for places available, though that is a reflection of the population as well, I think.
I have to ask.. what is it with every slave character in Gor (female) suddenly wear chains over their faces? Did I miss some memo on the latest slave face fashion for the past few months? I get when one person does it, but it seems that about half the slaves I see sport this look. Does it have some meaning that I’m missing?
I ‘m not saying that this is a bad thing, but it does seem sudden. Then again, I’m probably just behind the times.
I am around here and there!
[OOC commentary – This was one of the first dance lesson role play things that I did back when I role played Eydis in Salernum. I have found some of the old logs, and may place some of them in the blog here. Personally, I love doing training RP, and especially dance stuff through entirely ‘in character’ means. Screw notecards. This post has some more risque references in it, so I am putting this to let people know that.]
